I want to thank all of you for the opportunity to contribute to this community over the last four years. A lot has been accomplished. Our open spaces have been protected, cell coverage has been improved, a long term plan for our pathways has been completed, recreational opportunities for our children have been enhanced and the Town has re-claimed its traditional role as a leader on environmental issues. I am particularly pleased with the completion of the New Town Hall and my role as chairman of the committee charged with rebuilding it. I would like to thank all the committee members, the staff and our vendors who worked so hard to make it a success. While these many initiatives and projects have been undertaken, your Town Council has also tended to the day to day business of managing development and land use in a way that preserves the unique character of our Town and respects individual property rights. Over the last four years, the entire council has worked in a cooperative, consensus driven manner, to further the interests of our community.
